Located atop a hillside overlooking downtown San Jose, our hotel is nestled among 2.5 acres of meticulously landscaped gardens and grounds and a working coffee plantation. However, there is no spa, but being able to breathe better, enjoy inspiring views, situated in the coffee plantation, and due to the unique location, we wanted to include this in the list. Buena Vista Chic Hotel is where discerning travelers visit when they want to stay in a relaxing, tranquil getaway surrounded by the lush natural beauty of Alajuela, Costa Rica.

We use only locally sourced, fresh seasonal produce, herbs and ingredients. Guests may dine indoors or al fresco, outside on the pool deck and amongst lovely manicured gardens.
